The 2012 Georgia EV Rally is on March 24th

Due to causes beyond our control, the Rally for the 24th. will be postponed and rescheduled for a later date, very sorry for the inconvenience.

*** The 2012 Electric Vehicle Education Program GA Rally will be held Saturday March 24 at Burke County High School in Waynesboro, GA .

The 2012, 15th GA Electric Vehicle Rally is scheduled for March 24th at the Burke County High School‘s beautiful campus, which will provide a wonderful rally site with great facilities and spacious parking areas for all competitions.

Once again, the EVEP Georgia EV Rally invites all schools with Electric Vehicles to participate in one of the longest continuous-running EV competitions in the Nation.

The Rally includes 3 Driving competitions and 3 academic competitions.

Mark your calendars! Race day is Friday, May 4!

The host facility will once again be the Pulaski Tech – South Campus in Little Rock. http://www.pulaskitech.edu/administration/transportation_technology_center.asp

Entry forms and other information will be posted to the www.ecark.org site soon.

The cooperatives will provide lunch and drinks for participants.

The EV program is an ongoing education program that includes students from a variety of disciplines, including math, auto mechanics, physics, engineering, electronics, journalism and other classes. Throughout the year, students complete a variety of activities related to the EV program, developing presentations and taking part in a wide range of projects. The highlight of this unique project is the design and construction of electric vehicles that the students can actually drive and enter in the statewide competition.
